Senior Lashkar member escapes attempt on life

A senior member of Salarzai Peace Committee on Saturday escaped an attempt on his life by unknown miscreants in a far-flung area of tehsil Salarzai, Political Administration informed. Malik Gul Akbar, a senior member of "Salarzai Aman Lashkar" along with his fellows was on his way to village when a roadside bomb went off with a big bang near their convoy.
The explosion, however, could not cause any harm to the members of peace committee. Locals of the area told APP that the prime target of the bomb was Malik Akbar Khan who had taken strong actions against militants in the area.
