No death from dengue reported in 24 hours

With decline in the mercury, the deadly dengue virus has started receding, as no death was reported in Punjab during the last 24 hours. According to a report released by the Health Department Punjab, as many as 40 confirmed dengue cases have been reported in Punjab out of which 17 patients belong to Lahore. The total number of dengue patients in Punjab has risen to 21,115 out of which 17,360 belong to Lahore.
According to the report, at present 234 patients are under treatment in different hospitals of Punjab out of them around 189 patients are admitted in different hospitals of Lahore. Almost 72 dengue patients have been treated and discharged from Teaching and District Headquarters Hospitals of Lahore during the last 24 hours.
