Malaysian CG visits EPZA at PQA

The Consul General of Malaysia, Abubakar Mamat, and Vice-Consul Lukman Sayuti on Tuesday paid a visit to the Export Processing Zone Authority (EPZA) at Port Qasim on the invitation of Asif Jawaid Sheikh, member of the managing committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He was briefed by EPZA authorities about the infrastructure, foreign investors, and other export processing zones in the country, and rules and regulations. Chairman of EPZA, Tariq Hasan, was also present. The Malaysian Consul General appreciated the infrastructure arrangements at EPZA and the standard of working and availability of facilities and termed the Zone as one of the best in the region. He also visited a few industries in the Karachi Export Processing Zone.
