Environment protection department demolished eight animal fat melting units in Sheraan kot, Bund road area on Tuesday. EPD sources said during regular checking in different parts of the city it was noticed that eight animal fat melting units were operating near slaughter house without any NOC. These fat melting units generated obnoxious odour which affected residents and caused pollution in the area. EPD team demolished these illegal units.
