Another dengue patient dies in Karachi

The death toll from dengue viral fever jumped to 16 in Sindh province this year after a patient died in Karachi on Saturday evening. In-charge of Sindh Health Department's Dengue Surveillance Cell Dr M. Shakeel Mullick confirmed that 17-year Hamza Hayat, resident of Keamari died at a private hospital here.
He said three new dengue fever cases were reported on Saturday raising the number of confirmed dengue patients in the province to 940 during the year. He informed that 21 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals of the province including one each in Jamshoro, Matiari and Naushero Feroz and 18 in Karachi.
