Five persons were killed in different road accidents at various places. First accident took place near Chak No 36GB, where a car of marriage party was collided with a roadside tree and fell in water channel. Two persons Sharjeel Tahir and Shahbaz Ahmad died on the spot, while four injured persons Muhammad Azeem, Waseem, Abid Ali and Driver Ali Raza shifted to hospital.
The ill-fated car LEA-4517 was going to Bureawala from Jaranwala along with marriage party caravan. In other accident, a boy Adnan was crushed to death by speedy passenger bus near Marzipura. Peoples of the area staged protest against this traffic mishap and bus was set on fire. Driver of the bus fled away after the accident. In third accident, two persons including a bus driver were killed, seven injured, three of the are in serious condition in a head on collision between passenger bus and oil tanker near by pass in area of Jhang.
