A large number of people hailing from Hindu community, rights activists and civil society organisations held demonstration outside Swami Narain temple at Bandar Road Karachi on Wednesday to condemn assassination of four persons of minority community including two doctors on Eid day at Chak town of Shikarpur district.
The demonstrators, holding banners and placards, chanted slogans and demanded government of Pakistan for arrest of assailants and taking them to the task, and providing protection to the Hindu community. Dr Jaipal Chhabria of PPP, Dr Birma Jesrani, Ashok Kumar, Professor Nagpal, Hareef Chandio, Ali Hassan Chandio, Inayat Khatian, Jumo Comrade, Shahani, Professor Kumar, Jawahar Lal, Engineer Nirmal Das, Birj Lal and a large number of others including women and children participated in the protest.
