Pakistan Muslim League-N chief, Mian Nawaz Sharif here Sunday returned home after his Turkey tour and London sojourn said to be for the purpose of medical check-up. The former Prime Minister was taken out through the old airport for security reasons.
Nawaz Sharif had gone on to Turkey on October 21 on the invitation of Turkish President, Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In his seven-day stay there, besides meeting the president and PM, he held meetings with Governor Istanbul, top Turkish leadership and other high officials, wherein strengthening of bilateral relations and bolstering co-operation in different sectors were discussed and deliberated. On completion of his successful tour, Nawaz left for London for a medical check-up.
