Forecast of heavy rains: leaves of CDGK staff cancelled

City District government Karachi (CDGK) has cancelled the leaves of officers and subordinate staff of city government and town administration in view of the forecast of heavy rains in the city. DCO Karachi Roshan Ali Shaikh instructed the officers to ensure the availability of machinery, vehicles and water pumps at all such places in the city so that the rain water could be drained out right after the start of the rain.
He said that the city wardens would also help the citizens during rain and help the traffic police in maintaining traffic flow on roads.
