Flood victims in Sindh: Aptma dispatches food items worth Rs 4.2 million

All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) on Thursday dispatched 10 trucks loaded with food items worth Rs 4.2 million for flood-hit people of Sindh. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar was the chief guest. Chairman Aptma Mohsin Aziz, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) Afan Aziz, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
The chairman Aptma said that Aptma had established a fund of Rs 5 billion for flood affected areas of Sindh and Rs 2.5 billion has been raised through the fund so far. The food items worth Rs 4.2 million will be provided to more than 2,700 families of district Badin and other flood-hit areas of Sindh. The chairman Aptma said that they plan to distribute about 100 food trucks among the flood victims while more than 50 trucks have been dispatched so far.
