Scores of ambassadors, diplomats and members stationed here visited the presidency Tuesday to express their condolences by recording their remarks on behalf of their governments and the people of their respective countries on the demise of former First Lady and mother of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Late Ms Nusrat Bhutto.
The ambassadors and high commissioners who recorded their messages in the condolence book placed at Aiwan-e-Sadr today, included the diplomats of Algeria, China, Vietnam, Maldives, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Denmark, Netherlands, Egypt, Mauritius, Thailand, India, Cuba, DPR Korea, Japan, France, Libya, South Africa, Sudan, Kenya, Hungry, Iran, Nepal, Australia, USA and UAE.
The diplomats, while recording their remarks, described Ms Nusrat Bhutto a great leader, terming her sad demise a great loss for the family and the people of Pakistan. They lauded her bravery, grit and immense services for the cause of democracy and the democratic values in Pakistan terming her a source of inspiration for the people of Pakistan. They also termed the sad demise a great loss for the people of Pakistan, as Ms Bhutto was a great woman and extraordinary leader of the country.
