Investigation wings reactivated again

Sindh police after amending Police Rule 1861 has again reactivated separate investigation wings at all three zones. According to sources, the investigation and operation departments, which worked separately in Police Order, 2002, were merged after the restoration of Police Rule 1861.
However, the Sindh police have now made amendments in Police Rule 1861 and separated investigation departments from operation at all three zones. They said SSP Niaz Khoso would now supervise zone east investigation while SSP Arshad Kamal Kayani and Khurram Warsi would lead south and west zones, respectively.
