A three-day Pakistan Auto Show 2011 (PAPS 2011), organised by Pakistan Association of Automotive Pars & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM), opened at the Expo Centre here on Monday. The show will continue till October 26 to showcase the development and advancement in auto part manufacturing in Pakistan and seek new export opportunities.
More than 120 national and international auto companies are exhibiting their products, including manufactures of cars, motorcycles, buses, tractors and auto spare parts in the auto show 2011. However, neither any Federal nor any provincial minister attended the opening ceremony due to the death of Nusrat Bhutto and the countrywide mourning declared by the PPP government.
