Acting President Farooq H. Naek and Acting Chairman Senate Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali have expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, mother of ex Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and mother-in-law of the President Asif Ali Zardari, who died in Dubai after a protected illness on Sunday.
In their separate condolence messages to the President, the Acting President and the Acting Chairman Senate said that they were shocked to learn the news about the passing away of his mother-in-law, said a press release issued here on Sunday.
They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to President Asif Ali Zardari and other members of the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity. Leader of the House in Senate Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari and Leader of the Opposition in Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri have also expressed their condolence to the President Asif Ali Zardari on sad demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto.
