Civil servants' posting/transfers: Supreme Court tells provinces, Centre to produce record
The Supreme Court on Thursday sought record from four provinces and federal government pertaining to procedure of provincial and federal civil servants' posting and transfers. Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court Abid Hasan Minto represented the PCS officers before the bench and contended that disparity has been witnessed in the rules for DMG officers whose posting and transfers in the provinces was impediment in the way of departmental promotion of the PCS officers.
