Mohsin, Misbah hopeful of victory against Sri Lanka: team leaves for UAE

Led by Misbah-ul-Haq, Pakistan cricket team on Saturday left here for UAE to play a cricket series against Sri Lanka starting from October 18 with a 3-match Test series at the Sheikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium. Talking to mediamen at Allama Iqbal International Airport, coach Mohsin Khan said that the present team is balanced one with junior and senior players and boys will try to give optimum results in this series.
He said that the team has worked on different areas to improve as tough game is expected between the two teams. He added that Sri Lanka is one of the best cricket teams in the world and we would fight out our best in this series. He said that he is hopeful that the team will perform according to the expectations and yield good results.
Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq expressed optimism for showing good performance in the series and said that he is satisfied with the players' combination. "All boys are fit and would perform well in this series," he said. Manager Noshad Ali said that there would be no compromise on discipline. Keeping in view past events, players were given lectures on anti doping and anti corruption measures. The Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to play five One-dayers, 3 Test and One Twenty20 matches against Sri Lanka.
