LHC rejects two weekly holidays in Punjab courts

The Lahore High Court (LHC) rejecting the two weekly holidays has decided that all subordinate courts in Punjab will continue to work as per routine. Registrar LHC Sohail Nasir said in a statement issued here that a federal government notification was received on Friday with regard to holiday on Saturday at banking, custom, anti narcotics and FIA courts including income tax tribunals.
But, LHC keeping in view the suffering of the litigants decided to continue to work on Saturday.
