Gilgit-Baltistan Governor calls on Prime Minister

Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Pir Syed Karam Ali Shah called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and exchanged views on issues of governance and development projects in GB. The Governor briefed the Prime Minister on the development schemes in GB. The PM assured of his all-out co-operation and support for the development of GB, said a press release issued by the Governor's Camp Office, Islamabad.
The Governor also apprised the PM about construction of a road link between Gilgit and Tajikistan to which the PM said the matter would be taken up at the relevant forum so the area could attain progress and prosperity.
