Five hand grenades seized from Baldia Town

Saeedabad police on Monday claimed to have recovered some five hand grenades from Dawood Goth of Baldia Town. According to police, the grenades were dumped because of ongoing search operations. They said the police on the information of area people of the Dawood Goth recovered these grenades, which were concealed in a plastic bag dumped near Nullah.
When contacted the officials of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), said the grenades, which were defused and handed over to the police, were Russian made. However, the police officials were clueless to identify the responsible group as the Dawood Goth had mix population. Meanwhile, the case in this regard was registered against unidentified persons. Further investigation is in progress.
