FC sets up five check-posts in Orangi Town

In a move to maintain peace in the city's most volatile area Orangi Town, the Frontier Constabulary (FC) on Wednesday established its five check-posts. According to official sources, these check-posts were established at several parts of Orangi Town including Banaras, Qasba Colony, Shaheen Hotel, Kati Patrhi and Muhamamd Pur Chowk.
Around 100 FC personnel were deployed in these check-posts, would perform duties in shifts. At least 16 personnel would be deputed at each check-post while 20 reserved FC personnel would be deployed at Orangi Town police station. They said more FC personnel could be added on demand.
