AIOU extends admission date up to September 24

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended its admissions date up to September 24 for all programmes from Matric to MA/M.Sc, MBA (3.5 years duration), M.Com and Associate Degree in Commerce for the Semester Autumn 2011. This was decided in a meeting of special task group of the University presided over by the vice-chancellor, Professor Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi here on Saturday.
The decision was taken in view of the appeals to extend the admissions date received from a large number of candidates from every nook and corner of the country in addition to the recent flood in some parts of the country particularly in Sindh. Admission forms and prospectuses can be obtained from the sale points in the main campus of University at Sector H-8, Islamabad as well as from its 36 Regional Campuses all over the country.
