APML information secretary Punjab resigns

All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Punjab secretary information Javaid Badr on Saturday tendered resignation from his office in protest against non-political attitude of some elements within the party. In his resignation sent to spokesman of APML, Badr said despite giving party slot he was not given authority to work independently.
He, however, expressed confidence in the leadership of Pervez Musharraf, and said that he would continue to carry out the mission of APML chief with full sincerity as a worker of the party.
