MNA and Convenor National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Nawabzada Khawaja Mohammad Khan Hoti has unearthed massive level irregularities and corruption in Charsadda Paper Mill, saying that the government is intentionally going to sale out the expensive land on cheaper rate.
Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Tuesday, he said that the government has decided to sale out around worth of nine billion Charsadda Paper Mill land on cheaper rate. He informed that he is going to submit a writ petition in Peshawar high court against the huge corruption scam.
He accused that the government is paving way to make corruption and irregularities through sale out a much expensive land, adding that it has completed groundwork in this regard. According to agreement, he added, that the land would be used for industrial purpose. He alleged that the government is acquiring the much expensive 250 acres land through a blue-eyed company hailing from Mardan for construction of a residential model town.
Hoti accused that the provincial government has broken all records of corruption and rulers are looting national exchequer with both hands. He appealed the Supreme Court Chief Justice, Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take suo motu notice of the scam. He also demanded probing the matter through an independent and special judicial commission.
