Political cohesion imperative against US President’s anti Pakistan tweet

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister and PMLN provincial President Amir Muqam Thursday called for larger political cohesion and unity among the political leadership of the country against US President’ anti Pakistan tweet.
Talking to media here, he said time has come for the politician of the country to get united against the irresponsible and illogical tweet by US president in which he tried to discredit Pakistan’s sacrifices and efforts in war against terror.
He said that entire Pakistani nation stands united against anti state elements and the same was boldly reflected by the civil and military leadership during the National Security Committee meeting.
Islam is citadel of Islam and PMLN would continue to supporting nation’s feeling in the days to come, he said adding that in the wake of changing international scenario, political disability in the country is of prime importance.
He said PMLN would present the agenda of economic self reliance in the upcoming general elections in the country. PMLN is dispensing hope and pleasures to nation while the opponents are out to spread disappointment and dismay.
Muqam said that PMLN under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif would fight historical battle in the coming elections. He asked the opponents to present their performance in which they excelled by staging sit-ins, shutting the business and running the stock exchanges of the country.
Muqam said that those who have wasted five –year in power in KP are accountable to nation and the people would not forgive them what they have done.
He said that PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s statement would have made the soul of late Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan restless.
He said PMLN has carries out record development project in KP despite having no mandate. The crushing defeat of the people staging Dharnas (sit-in) was their fate in 2018 elections.
Muqam said the people of Punjab and Sindh were praying for the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif. The entir nation witnessed the revolution of PTI leader Imran Khan by giving ticket to son of Jehangir Tareen for Lodhran bye-poll, he concluded.
