Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric was named in his side's starting line-up for Sunday's game against Manchester City even though the unsettled Croatian remains keen on a move to Chelsea. Modric had missed Tottenham's first three matches this season amid growing speculation that he was refusing to play following his club's decision to reject two Chelsea bids for him.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp claimed Modric's head wasn't right to face Manchester United on Monday but, despite reports that Chelsea are set to return with a £40 million offer before Wednesday's transfer deadline, the Croatian was included for City's visit to White Hart Lane.
City's team featured Samir Nasri, who made his debut for Roberto Mancini's men just days after the France midfielder finally got his wish to leave Tottenham's north London rivals Arsenal.
