Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has bid goodbye to the last year with a bang by getting selected into the Cricket.com.au's best ODI XI of 2017.

The fast bowler enjoyed a memorable run in 2017, after he was named Player of the Tournament at the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy, which was won by Pakistan after beating arch-rivals India, by a record 180 runs margin at Oval.

Hasan claimed 45 wickets in 18 matches, including two five wicket hauls, with the best bowling figures of 5 for 34 runs. He was the only Pakistani cricketer to make into the ODI XI, which consists of three Indians, three Englishmen, two Proteas and one player each from New Zealand and Afghanistan.

Afghanistan’s spin sensation Rashid Khan brought the minnows into the World XI, while surprisingly, no Australian cricketer made into the XI.

Here is list of ODI XI

Rohit Sharma (Ind), Quinton de Kock (SA), Virat Kohli (Ind), Joe Root (Eng), AB de Villiers (SA), Ben Stokes (Eng), Hardik Pandya (Ind), Liam Plunkett (Eng), Trent Boult (NZ), Hasan Ali (Pak) and Rashid Khan (Afg)
