The Punjab government on Saturday carried out transfer and posting of government officials. According to a notification, Jawad Rafique Malik, Commissioner Sargodha, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Lahore, vice Nadeem Hassan Asif. He shall assume the charge of the post of Commissioner Lahore Division on July 9, the day when Nadeem Hassan Asif relinquishes the charge of the post.
Mahmoodul Hassan Zia, Deputy Director, Programme Management Unit (PMU), Special Initiatives, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Executive District Officer (Finance and Planning) Okara against a vacant post. Masood-ul-Haque, Director, Excise and Taxation, on current charge basis, and Additional Secretary (Technical)/ In charge Provincial Narcotics Control Cell, has been transferred and posted as Director, Excise and Taxation, Region-A, Lahore vice Ashiq Hussain. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Director, Excise and Taxation, Region-C, Lahore, in addition to his own duties till the posting of a regular incumbent.
Consequent upon transfer of Muhammad Sarfraz, Director, Excise and Taxation, Bahawalpur and posting him as Additional Secretary (Technical)/Incharge Provincial Narcotics Control Cell, Khalid Siddique, Senior ETO, presently working as Director (Enforcement and Audit), Directorate General Excise and Taxation, Punjab has been transferred and posted as Director, Excise and Taxation, Bahawalpur.
Ahmad Saeed, Senior ETO, has been posted as Director (Enforcement and Audit), Excise and Taxation, Punjab vice Khalid Siddique. Ashiq Hussain, Senior ETO, presently working as Director, Excise and Taxation (OPS), Region-A Lahore, has been transferred and directed to report to Directorate General, Excise and Taxation, Punjab.
Akeel Ahmad Khan, Assistant Director, Anti-Corruption Establishment, Rawalpindi, has been transferred and posted as Senior Administrative Officer in the office of District Coordination Officer Rawalpindi, relieving Muhammad Sher, Executive District Officer (Community Development), Rawalpindi.
