Parking of oil tankers: Sindh chief secretary directs shifting from Kemari to Zulfikarabad

Sindh Chief Secretary, Raja Muhammad Abbas, has directed that the parking of oil tankers from Kemari to Zulfikarabad be ensured at the earliest. Chairing a meeting here on Friday, he stressed that an effective strategy be adopted for the purpose. Raja Abbas also directed the Sindh Secretary Transport and DCO Karachi to submit a report regarding the shifting project in this regard.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of this project in the past and it was directed that for the early completion of this project, an effective strategy be adopted for a phase-wise implementation of the project. The Chief Secretary also called for evolving liaison and co-ordination in consultation and under the guidance of Federal Secretary Petroleum. The meeting was attended by ACS Muhammad Ishaq Lashari, Secretary Finance Naveed Kamran Baloch, Secretary Implementation Asif Haider Shah and EDO Revenue Roshan Shaikh.
