The Punjab health secretary has taken notice of reports regarding unavailability of medicines for the registered patients of Hepatitis-C at Allied Hospital Faisalabad and asked the concerned officer of Punjab Hepatitis Control Programme to immediately provide the medicines for these patients.
Director Punjab Hepatitis Control Programme, Shahid Pervaiz Khan informed that the quota of medicines and injections of the Allied Hospital Faisalabad for the treatment of 570 registered patients was already available at the Head Quarters Office and the Medical Superintendent Allied Hospital Faisalabad has been asked to collect them.
