English Biscuit Manufacturers (Pvt) Ltd, or (EBM), is the country's leading manufacturer of biscuits and cookies since 1967, with an annual sales volume and production capacity in excess of Rs 15 billion and 100,000 tons respectively.
EBM the makers of Peek Freans biscuits produces thousands of tons of premium quality, healthy, nutritious and wholesome biscuits employing the most innovative ideas, sophisticated Food Safety systems and state-of-the-art technologies at its factories in Karachi & Hatter. These include well known brands like Sooper, Rio, Gluco, Farm House Cookies, Whole Wheat Slices, Party, Peanut Pik, Peanut Pista, Original Lemon & Chocolate Sandwiches, Marie, Butter Puff, Saltish and Click.

INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT AND ECOLOGICALLY HYGIENIC PROCESSES
Waste Water Treatment Plant Waste water treatment plant has been set up to ensure high quality of water, advanced filtration processes are in place. EBM uses this treated water for gardening purposes and to irrigate the newly landscaped recreation area and park for children
SEPARATE AREA FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT The company has addressed waste management in an efficient manner and the installation of an incinerator is the latest development in this regard
DEVELOPMENT PLAN EBM has also constructed a lush green recreational area for children within the EBM premises for school children to enjoy themselves during the factory visit.
The above steps towards a clean, greener environment clearly demonstrate the Company's commitment to protect and preserve the environment for all the company's stake-holders in business and the community at large Apart from these activities, the company actively sponsors environment related workshops, conferences and seminars throughout the country and supports many such organisations that organise eco-awareness raising activities and the recent project being development of the green belt with co-ordination with KATI.
As a result of its conscious and proactive environment management processes, EBM holds the distinction of being the only food company in Pakistan to receive the Environment Excellence Award for the last 7 successive years since 2004.
