Budget termed balanced document

The budget for the year 2011-12 is a balanced document reflective of public aspirations. MNA Chaudhry Tassaduq Masood Khan said this in a telephonic conversation with newsmen on Saturday. He said increase in salaries and pensions despite the financial crunch was praiseworthy step by the government.
He was of the view that opposition's protest during the budget speech of the Federal Finance Minister was against the democratic norms. "The coalition partners' support for the budget policy of the government is admirable and it also reflects their confidence on the policies of the government." He stressed the need to bring all the eligible persons into the tax net to strengthen the economy. Chaudhry Tassaduq said that PML-N's protest stance showed desperation of the party due to growing popularity of the government.
