SHID extends agriculture inputs to flood-hit farmers

The society for human and institutional development (SHID) has extended agriculture inputs and fertilisers to floods affected farmers in district Charssada. More than, 600 flood affected growers belonging to Agra, Mirza Dher and Tarnab farm took benefit from agriculture input assistance.
Anwar shah, SHID Executive Director, distributed agricultural tools containing hand hoe, sickle, spade, digger, wheel barrows, rake, axe, saw, gloves and vegetable fertilisers along with other essential commodities during a ceremony held here on Saturday. A large number of floods hit small growers were present on the occasion.
Anwar shah, while addressing on the occasion said that SHID had allocated Rs 21 million for the assistance of flood-affected people, saying the agricultural assistance to 600 farmers was part of relief package. Primarily, he said the agricultural package would distribute among 1,000 families under the first phase, including construction of 60-irrigation watercourse in the said union councils.
