A six-member delegation of Economic Daily of China led by its president Xu Rujun visited Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW) here on Wednesday. Commodore Sajid Wazir Khan, KSEW's General Manager Ship Building, gave a detailed briefing on the working of KSEW.
He informed the Chinese delegation that a handing over ceremony of F22P Frigate to the Pakistan Navy world be held soon. Commodore Sajid further stated that a contract had been signed with the China Ship Building and Offshore Company to build another sea craft for the Pakistan Navy.
He also informed the delegation that capabilities of F22P Frigate had been tested which achieved its 100 percent target. The Chinese delegation also visited the frigate and plant area of the KSEW and appreciated the quality of work being carried out at the KSEW.
