ISE index gains 3.13 points

Equities moved both ways at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday where investors adopted cautious approach amid increase in index. ISE-10 Index showed an improvement of 3.13 points from 2,747.01 points to 2,750.14 points. Turnover amounted to 232,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 89,290 shares.
Total 142 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (68) closed in positive territory and 74 closed in negative territory. The turnover of Dewan Salman Fibres was 191,800 shares. The volume of Summit Bank was 15,000 shares. The turnover of Dewan Farooq Motor was 10,000 shares and the volume of Silk Bank was 7,800 shares.
