Thin trading was seen on wholesale grain market on Saturday as prices tended higher mostly, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old bardan old and new were up by Rs 40 to Rs 2500 and Rs 2515, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the grams side bajra low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 2800 while the best quality maintained overnight level at Rs 3000, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low quality rose by Rs 25 to Rs 3625 and better type picked up by Rs 50 to Rs 3700, other varieties did not move any side due to balanced demand and supply position, they said.
