KARACHI: A high level delegation of K-Electric led by their head of distribution operations Aamir Zia called on Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar in his office on Monday to discuss matter about the K -Electric’s dues notice to KMC.
Head of PSC K Electric Bashir Shaikh, DGM Finance Farid Ahmed, director finance Kamran A Hashmi were also present, From KMC side Municipal Commissioner Dr. Asghar Abbas, chairman E& M committee Khalid Ajmeri, chairman works committee Hasan Naqvi, legal advisor Azara Muqeem, director finance Riaz Khatri, director technical S. M Shakaib, SE(E&M)Tariq Ansari, Sameer Ghazanfar Advocate and other officers attended the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting that K Electric billing will be reconciled and the matter will be resolved with mutual understanding. Waseem Akhtar said we want to resolve this matter amicably; however, both organizations have to come on one page.
He said KMC will pay the running bills and the outstanding bill amount will be decided once it is reviewed and after reconciliation of the dues of KMC and K Electric.
