The Jamaat e Islami Secretary General, Liaquat Baloch, has said that the masses would have to raise against the NRO beneficiary, corrupt and coward rulers who could not frame independent national policies.
Inaugurating a Madrissa under the auspices of the Waliullah Foundation at Garhi Shahu on Sunday, he said that the present elected rulers were pursuing Pervez Musharraf's policies and trying to mislead the masses by claiming that co-operation with the US would ensure the country's prosperity and strength.
He said time had however proved that the facts were otherwise and Pakistan's independence and solidarity and integrity have been endangered by Islamabad's unconditional support to the US.
The US, he said, had targeted our nuclear assets and the people felt insecure after the Abbotabad operation.
Liaquat Baloch also visited the residence of Ibadur Rahman, the young man who had been crushed under the wheels of the US Consulate vehicle rescuing CIA operative Raymond Davis. He demanded of the Punjab government to do justice to Ibadur Rahman's family.
