Pakistan has shown its willingness in returning the wrecked tail of modified Stealth, US helicopter to US administration which was torched during Abbottabad operation on May 2. During a briefing to media persons at Islamabad, US Senator John Kerry said that the remains of the helicopter would be transported soon to the US.
He termed the move a part of a process to improve co-operation between the two countries. The Navy SEALs who killed bin Laden left the crashed chopper behind but the tail escaped luckily. It was learnt that earlier the government was interested in studying the tail of the helicopter with the assistance of China.
The immediate request for return of the helicopter by Obama administration was turned down in the first instance, but they succeeded in getting the remains of the chopper in the second attempt on the visit of Senator Kerry.
United States doesn't want to let its sensitive military technology go in the hands of China. Two countries Russia and China have the capability of developing stealth technology. But, this technology in helicopter was exposed first time during operation at bin Laden's compound.
