As a cynical citizen, I was thoroughly tickled to read the statement of Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, over the Abbottabad security debacle, when the US stealth helicopters sneaked into Pakistan's airspace, unnoticed and undetected by the so-called, guardians of the nation's skies because the radars installed to detect "bandits", the enemy aircrafts, in the air force lingo, were inactive for the reason that the "PAF had never perceived any threat for urban areas of Pakistan from Afghanistan" - amazing perception of the PAF's think tank of air warriors!
One wonders, what would be the explanation of the air chief, for keeping the radars in the event, either India or Israel took the western route to attack, say, Pakistan's nuclear sites? The air chief went on, funnily enough, to declare, "let them (the US airborne commandos) come again and the world will see our response" (this time we let you go for old times' sake, though). Bravo Air Chief, bravo for the hollow and untenable rhetoric!
The Air Chief is sincerely advised instead to fly kites and indulge in the festivities of 'Basant' since the US' sneaking choppers have taken out the PAF's thunder, anyway!
