Pakistan State Oil (PSO) organised a one-day training seminar for the CNG station owners at Lahore office on Friday. The purpose of the seminar was to create awareness among the CNG station owners to adopt safety measures in order to avoid any accidents.
Deputy General Manager PSO Karachi, Kashif Siddique, Nihal Askari, Deputy General Manager (HSE), Hina Shakeel, Deputy Business Manager, Mansoor Ismail, Deputy General Manager Retail Business and Khawja Ahsan Business Manager Gasoline Fuels (GF) also attended the seminar.
Askari said that the purpose of the workshop is to ensure zero accident at PSO CNG stations, knowledge pertaining to the safety and technical aspects of CNG business is obligatory. Therefore, PSO decided to organise a series of CNG technical seminars for all PSO Divisional Engineers and CNG operators on countrywide basis.
The purpose of such technical seminars is to educate CNG operators, technicians and PSO Divisional Engineers regarding the technical and HSE aspects of CNG stations, PSO has always taken such initiatives to create awareness among all its stakeholders in this business. All the participants appreciated PSO's initiative to educate them on critical aspects of CNG business, which will prove useful in ensuring smooth and safe operations of PSO CNG stations in the days to come.
