Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday also demanded of the government on the floor of the National Assembly to constituted a high level judicial commission to investigate into the May 2 Abbottabad incident, in which US troops killed Osama bin Laden by violating the sovereignty of Pakistan.
"A judicial commission should be headed by the Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Pakistan and comprises chief justices of high courts of four provinces and Islamabad to probe the incident and present its report within 21 days in the House. We will not accept any committee headed by any serving general," Khawaja Saad Rafique said while making demand on the floor of the National Assembly.
He said that it is big question mark on the sovereignty and dignity of Pakistan. "It is political, diplomatic and armed forces' failure, whosoever is responsible should be brought to book otherwise the nation will be disappointed," he said. He also condemned the statement of the Interior Minister and termed it lose talk. Later, the members of the National Assembly started debate on the issue of Abbottabad.
