Mufti Kifatullah, a JUI-F member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has called for evolving an independent foreign policy after taking all stakeholders on board. Speaking at a news conference, here on Wednesday, at Peshawar Press Club (PPC), he said that the killing of al Qaeda Chief Osama Bin Laden was a judicial murder and asked both chiefs of armed forces and senior officials interior and foreign affairs to resign following the Abbottabad episode.
He expressed anguish over the burial of Osama dead body at sea, which depicted US barbarism. Pronouncing Osama death as martyrdom, he said that he was backed by 1.5 billion Muslims of all over the World.
"No court had yet to be declared Osama as offender in the world, but it was proved culprit under the media growing pressure and eventually killed him. Terming the killing of Osama Bin Laden a great offence, he said the attack on Abbottabad was against the sovereignity and integrity of the country. The history will make judgement about the killing of Osama, he added.
He said that he visited Abbottabad, where people are feeling insecure following the killing of al Qaeda Leader Osama Bin Laden, he said. He accused that security agencies were not capable to detect any external aggression. The US-led foreign forces had taken full benefit from the weakness of the Pakistani security agencies to kill Osama Bid Laden, he stated.
He called upon both Heads of Army and Air forces, interior and foreign officials to resign following the failure to protect the state from foreign assault. "We want sovereign and independent foreign policy in the country, he demanded. He said the stability of institutes is imperative instead of elitism. He said the country is passing through critical juncture as number of challenges confronted it.
