Sindh Minister for Special Education & Bonded Labour, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah has said that present government is planning to energise and develop rural areas and bring them at the par with the urban to resolve basic problems of people residing in backward areas.
This he observed while inaugurating two separately completed schemes of Sui gas supply in the villages of Allah Warayo Mirjat and Shakardin Mirjat Thursday. He said that due to the increasing influx into urban areas due to lack of basic facilities in the rural has created socio-economic problems, as such PPP, under the slogan of social justice for all is planning to develop these rural areas on equitable basis.
He said that Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had floated 'five Es' development plan under which more important issues experienced by people of the rural areas including energy, education and employment are being addressed on priority basis. Nawaz said that political stability to implement on socio-economic planning is essentially needed as such PPP under the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and dynamic leadership of Co-chairman and President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, is running the democratic government under a reconciliation approach. He added that coalition with Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) is also a part of this strategy under which PPP has buried its differences in the interest of nation and the country.
The minister said different development schemes at the cost of billions of rupees either have been completed or being completed in district Tando Allahyar. He said District Tando Allahyar would be developed on modern lines and would be made a hub of educational and business activities in near future. He termed dual carriageway project from Hyderabad to Mirpurkhas via Tando Allahyar a great achievement of PPP by which people of these areas would be facilitated on modern lines. He said that since decades, Tando Allahyar has been remained a stronghold of PPP and whenever people of the area are tested, they exercise their power in favour of PPP.
