The third annual convention of Pakistan Mashaikh Council and Muttahida Majlas-e-Mashaikh Pakistan was held here at Aiwan-e-Iqbal Lahore. The topic of the discussion was " Problems of Muslim Community and the Roles of Shrines". The convention was attended by religious and spiritual personalities from across the country.
They discussed national and community issues and proposed solutions. They also discussed conspiracies in the Arab world especially in the backdrop of sinful act of blasphemy of the Holy Quran by American priest. They discussed constantly increasing deep-rooted affects of Hindu Panditism in Afghanistan and enforcement of a rejected colonial system on the Afghan nation.
Makhdoom Syed Nafees-ul-Hassan Bukhari, Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Uch Sharif said that there is a need of such a religious and political revolution in the Islamic world, which will be able to provide peace and justice to the Muslim Ummah. He said that the followers of Sufism and shrines would bring revolution. Pir Syed Munnawwar Hussain Jamati said that Pakistan could play a vital key role for the Islamic community. Peer Syed Muhayy-ud-din Gilani said that there is a need of such council, which should provide leadership to the community.-PR
