Hoax bomb call creates panic

A hoax bomb call resulted in an emergency drill by bomb disposal squad, volunteers of Hilal-e-Ahmar, Edhi, Cheepa and Tipu Sultan police, who rushed to Business Avenue Building for search and rescue on Monday. According to detail, a call was received by the building administration. The caller said that a bomb was planted in the building, which spread panic.
The administration immediately responded and evacuated the multi-story building within a short span of time. The bomb disposal squad rushed to the scene and cleared the building after thorough search and sweeping. The call proved to be hoax.
