A foreign delegation of Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) trainers, who are on one-week visit to Pakistan to impart legal education to judges of the district courts, called on the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry here on Monday.
The delegation comprised Ms Telissa A Ridgway, judge US Court of International Trade, Morrison C England Jr. US District Court Judge, Eastern District of California, Scott Baldwin, Attorney, Office of the policy and external affairs US PTO, Phillip Guentert, Intellectual Property Law Enforcement Co-ordinator US DOJ, Joe Yong, Attorney Advisor, International CLDP and Ms Kalpanareddy.
They delegation discussed the judicial course being imparted to he judges at FJA relating to intellectual property law, piracy and counterfeit laws with the Chief Justice of Pakistan. Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, senior judge of Supreme Court and judge incharge of FJA was also present.
