Housing census operations further extended

The Population Census Organisation (PCO) of Statistics division has further extended Housing Census 2011 operations to further 10 days up to May 5, a senior official of the organisation said. "The Prime Minister has given approval of extending the date of House listing across the country for another 10 days up to May 5, which was earlier scheduled to be concluded on Aril 25", Director General of Population Census Organisation, Muhammad Akram Janjua told APP here on Monday.
He said that the District Population Census officers have been authorised to complete the House listing process across the country up to May 5,2011, where the national exercise has not been completed yet. The DG Population Census expressed the hope that the House listing process which started from April 5 would be completed till May 5.
