Sindh Minister for Information and Archives Sharjeel Inam Memon, has flayed the statement of Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, regarding creation of more provinces in Sindh. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) believes in provincial autonomy while keeping the federation strong.
He further stated that the dwellers of Sindh love their province and that there is no rural or urban distinction here. Sharjeel said that the prevailing law and order problem in Sindh is due to the machinations of certain elements and "undemocratic forces."
He maintained that Shahbaz Sharif's statement regarding more provinces in Sindh was aimed at trying to create a divide among the dwellers of Sindh and that he should regret for making such a statement and desist from doing this again.
