'QHSE policies, procedures gaining popularity'

Importance of quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) policies and procedures in the public and private sector has gained great importance due to the tragic Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan. This disaster follows the oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, which is estimated to cost British Petroleum $40 billion and Tasman Spirit Oil Spill on the coast of Arabian Sea in 1996.
To prevent disasters and protect employees and citizens, corporations in Pakistan need to discuss and establish strong QHSE programmes. With keen interest of senior government officials, business executives, QHSE specialists, and environmentalists, Investment & Marketing has organised a conference in Pakistan on the topic of QHSE.
