1,000 muftis of Ahle-e-Sunnat declare suicide bombing Haram

1,000 Muftis (religious jurists and scholars) of Ahle-e-Sunnat school of thought from 55 Islamic countries have given a Fatawa (Islamic religious /jurisprudence ruling) against the suicide bombing and described it Haram in Islam (not permissible). This was announced by the Chairman Sunni Itehad Council Sahibzada Fazal Karim MNA at a largely attended Istehkaam-e-Pakistan Conference arranged by the SIC at the historic Minar-e-Pakistan Park here on Sunday.
It may be added that the Punjab government which had banned any public meeting at the Minar-e-Pakistan sprawling Park due to security reasons in the past succumbed to the religious parties pressure and gave permission to SIC to hold its conference at the last moment provided they take responsibility of security of the participants.
Addressing the conference Karim said that SIC would hold a train march from Karachi to Islamabad on 14th August against terrorism, price hike and suicide attacks on Mazar sharifs of Aulia-Karam (saints' graves) in the country.
Moreover it also plans a conventions of lawyers, doctors, teachers, labourers, women, peasants and students to create harmony, tolerance, brotherhood, end of feudalism, economic exploitation and implementation of Nizam-e-Mustafa.
He gave a deadline to the rulers to change their political attitude and governing style otherwise SIC will launch a mass movement against them to bring an Islamic socio-economic revolution in the country.
Karim said the Ahle-e-Sunnat religious parties in the SIC will end the ancestral politics, peoples deprivations, and terrorism that has destroyed our economy and peaceful social fabric of the nation.
He said religious parties would construct Mosques , religious seminaries, and schools as forts to bring about the Nizam-e-Mustafa revolution under which government lands will be distributed among the landless farmers and peasants, besides properties of those persons will be auctioned who had got their bank loans written off by using their political clout.
Karim said the Ahle-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat parties demand accountability of the rulers for not adequately protecting the Mazars of the Aulia-e-Karam (saints) and the Zareens (pilgrims) from gruesome attacks of the suicide bombers sent by an intolerant and terrorist religious school of thought.
"The real Islamic Jehad is against poverty, ignorance, price hike, unemployment, cruelty, economic exploitation, feudalism and capitalism.", he declared.
"Darood-Waley" (Ahle-Sunnat Jamaat) have come into the battleground, now the Barood waley (terrorist and suicide bombers) will run away, he added.
The day long conference was also addressed by Allama Syed Hussainuddin Shah, Haji Mohammad Tayyab, Syed Muzhar Saeed Kazmi, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, Sarwat Qadri, Mohmmad Afzal Qadri, Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Syed Mahfooz Mashhadi, Syed Mohammad Iqbal Shah, Syed Mohammad Shah Gilani, Pir Atharul Qadri, Mohammad Nawaz Kharal, Mufti Fazalur Rahman Okarvi, Syed Mohammad Ajmal Gilani and other.
The conference started with Labaik Yaa Rasool Ullah (PBH) Naara-e-Takbeer and Darood-o-Salaam.
SIC Secretary General and eminent religious and political scholar Haji Hanif Tayyab said the followers of Ulema and Mushaikh who struggled for the achievement of Pakistan have come into the field to save and protect the nation from the terrorists and exploiters.
He said SIC would bury the politics of money , turncoats and VIP culture in the country.
